On the 9th and 10th of November the “SCAP – Stuttgart Conference on the Future of Automobile Production” will take place as a successor of last years “Stuttgarter Tagung zur Zukunft der Automobilproduktion”. This conference offers a unique platform for your research topics concerning all aspects of automobile production.
SCAP focuses on future production challenges across all automotive production sectors. With multiple parallel tracks of scientific presentations from research institutes and automotive R&D departments, live technology demonstrations and the integration of innovative startups, the conference offers a unique combination of current research topics and possible solutions for automobile production. Keynotes from automotive industry peers aim to identify the current fields of action and needs for automotive value creation.
The SCAP series addresses advances in robotics & automation, logistics and innovative technologies for future automotive production environments. The partner network for this conference consisting of ARENA2036, Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA and the University of Stuttgart organized SCAP in order to give you a deeper insight into new and important topics regarding the automotive production.
The theme of this year's conference is
NEXT GEN MOBILITY PRODUCTION - SUSTAINABILITY VIA RECONFIGURABILITY
The event aims at all trades connected to the automotive industry, as well as participating research institutions that would like to discuss latest topics and developments.
Experts from research and science share their experiences and report on new processes and developments in connection with the future of automobile production. The research campus ARENA2036 is the ideal place for automotive production innovation and invites you to discuss your experiences in manufacturing engineering.
Due to the uncertain development of the Covid-19 pandemic, SCAP2020 will be held as a fully virtual conference on November 9th and 10th 2020.
Host of the SCAP conference is the research campus ARENA2036, a collaborative innovation facility for researchers from industry and academia funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research with a focus on automotive production and mobility concepts.
